First the color of the suit and tie was called black burgundy. I bought the suit through a Sear's store in Harrisburg, Pa. It was a custom tailored suit and I had the lapels made in a narrow cut with rounded tips, I bought this suit after I had my first interview with a first line IBM manager at Williamsport. After that interview he set up an interview with the Harrisburg Branch Office Manager and suggested I wear a suit (I didn't even own a suit and never wore one). I proceeded to go in debt and buy the suit. After my interview with the HBOM the first line manager took me aside and told me, jokingly, that he didn't mean to suggest that I outdress his boss. I was hired and I never owned another custom tailored suit."</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4201778273543718174/7529226929462413388/comments/default/297760710337434631'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4201778273543718174/7529226929462413388/comments/default/297760710337434631'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://blog.swartzes.com/2009/02/remembering-christmas-past.html?showComment=1237162800000#c297760710337434631' title=''/><author><name>Alan Swartz</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/15180645185223143855</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='32' height='21' src='http://farm1.static.flickr.com/30/61249530_d7b90e5be3_m_d.jpg'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://blog.swartzes.com/2009/02/remembering-christmas-past.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4201778273543718174.post-7529226929462413388' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4201778273543718174/posts/default/7529226929462413388' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-361197473'/></entry></feed>
